BATTLECHIPS (DRIFTFLEET)
Battle Chips that Megaman currently has installed! For personal reference more than anything. Empty rows are free data slots.
Megaman would need the help of a second party to actually physically input and remove the chips via the data storage on his back (awkward), but after that he would have the Chips stored for duration instead of constantly needing them uploaded for him. The augment would limit his initial data capacity to seven Standard Chips (normally-powered chips), two non-Navi Mega Chips (high-powered chips), and one non-Navi Giga Chip (hella-powered chip) at any given time, no duplicates. Also courtesy of the augment, Mega Chips require a 24-hour recharge after one use, and Giga Chips require a recharge of one week. Attaching/using a chip would manifest a sort of 'hard hologram' linked to Megaman's person (since this is the physical world, not virtual), active for only a limited amount of time and prone to shattering prematurely under sustained damage.
