Hello, you're accessing Megaman's inbox! If you're receiving this message then I'm probably away and busy right now, sorry about that. Drop a line and I'll get back to you as soon as I can, thank you!
[Okay so Clay was preparing to lift up a small child, but clearly he needs to use more muscle here. Which he can do pretty easily, and soon enough, he spins him around a couple of times before he sets him down, ending up in a kneel since Megaman is 1. heavy, and 2. short, though he ends up laughing by the end.]
Ha - Thanks for listening to me! Sorry I put you through that!
[Oh, he certainly does notice the multiple papers there--huh, he'd figured it was just one chart, is it that huge...? His interest is piqued, but he beams back in return as Clay strides over to meet him, a greeting all set and ready to go.]
Hey, glad to see you made it! [Alright Clay is still approaching and he's getting kind of weirdly close but that's probably just for the quieter conversation right...] Hah, welcome to the Golden, I gue--aah!
[Well, that sure is a hug.
And this sure is him being lifted right off the ground wHAT--]
[All things considered, he's had worse spinnings-around in his life! In fact it's nice enough, as spinning hugs go--he's pretty sure this is a hug of the spinning sort, anyway--but as completely unexpected as it is, Megaman ends up just sort of. Clinging to Clay's arms for dear life until he's set down again (with a decently heavy thump on the cargo bay floor--when you're entirely made of metal it adds up to a bit of weight, for sure!)
Still more utterly surprised than anything, he ends up still holding onto Clay's arms even after the fact anyway (it might be kind of a vicegrip there sORRY BRO), blinking at the laughter and the...thanks??]
A-Ah, you're--you're welcome? Um, but I'm not sure I understand what you mean...? [Also you're kneeling oh my god did you pull something dude.] Wait, are you okay?!
Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm okay! [Except wow, ouch bro] Except, uh... [He looks at where Megaman's hands are, look it's not that he minds but THAT'S A VICE GRIP THERE MAN AND YOU'RE MADE OF METAL.]
[Except--what--he looks down to where Clay is looking and...oh, shit, right. Whoops--
Pardon him while he lets go immediately oh my god.]
Oh, man, I'm sorry! I was just--that was kind of surprising, is all! [AND HE FORGETS HIS OWN STRENGTH SOMETIMES...it's not super extraordinary but when combined with the metal factor, ah. He straightens, rubbing the back of his neck.] You're thanking me for...oh! For what we were talking about earlier, you mean?
[Yeaaah, excuse him while he sits back and rubs at the spots where Megaman squeezed, because ow, man. What's he going to say to his crew if they turn into bruises? 8( ]
Yeah! I mean, I know I kind of put you in a tough spot, and you still helped me out! [He does stop for a moment to reach out and clap a hand on his shoulder.] So, thanks.
[Clay you'll obviously have to tell them that you gave a robot child a surprise spinning hug for listening to your dating woes at 4am in the morning I MEAN YOU CAN'T GO WRONG WITH THAT...RIGHT....
HE DOES STILL FEEL BAD THOUGH AH he does't miss that bit of rubbing there...but, oh--the clap on the shoulder is a surprise too! Though it's also nice, and ends up finally earning a more proper smile.]
Hah, well, when you put it that way...I mean, I still don't really know a lot about those sorts of things, yeah. I'm glad I was still able to help, though! And I probably need the practice anyway...one day I might have to give more advice about dating and things... [He sighs a bit. Lan isn't going to be oblivious forever, after all. Or at least, he probably won't. BUT IT'S PROBABLY GOOD TO PREPARE EARLY FOR THESE THINGS ANYWAY...
But, all that besides--shrugging a bit, he offers Clay a hand, on the off chance he wants to get back on his feet at some point here.]
Ah--anyway, though! You probably want to actually see the rest of the ship at some point. And you brought a lot of papers over, I see...do you want some help carrying those?
Oh - Yeah, I'd love to see the rest! [And though Clay doesn't really need help getting to his feet, he takes the offered hand anyway, letting Megaman pull him back up.] I don't really need help with the charts - It's not just the one Allen gave me! I've got the diagram for a telescope like you wanted, and a few charts I've already made myself. I figured you might want to look those over with me, too!
[Yeah, in retrospect Clay probably really doesn't need any help in that department--but it's a force of habit, and at least Clay indulges him! Megaman bounces back on his heels a bit once Clay is upright and ready to go, perking up visibly at Clay's words.]
--Oh, the telescope! So you managed to finish the blueprint, that's really good! I can't wait to see it...and ah, you've been making your own star charts too? Sounds like you've been really busy lately! I'd definitely really like to see those too...
[And once Clay is all set with the papers in hand, they'll start up to the main body of the ship soon enough. Megaman remembers to lower his voice a bit as they clear the stairway and enter the main hall. But--remembering that he's also playing host now, in a sense!--he checks to make sure Clay is following and then gestures around a bit, first to where the kitchen/recreation area opens up and then to the bunker doors lining the hallway.]
So, yes, this is the Golden! It's not a very large ship yet...we've gotten a bit roomier lately, though? Everyone's been putting a lot of work into the recreation area so far! And we got separate bedrooms recently too... [He shrugs a bit, though, as he then turns away from the bunkers entirely in favor of starting further down the hall, towards the ship's hull.] Which, I'm sure it's pretty nice! Nicer than before? I don't use my room very much, though...
action; 3/3
